Another employee, who is only just beginning his journey with Korrie, is Roddy Tweedie.
The 20-year-old has only just started with the company in July 2015 on a four year traineeship which allows him to work on the job alongside studying for an Open University course, Foundation Degree in Surveying Practice.
The course is four and a half years long leading to a foundation degree in Surveying and Roddy is determined to make the most of the opportunity given to him to progress in the firm, like so many of his colleagues before him.
Roddy said: “The support of the company is brilliant and it is the perfect opportunity for me. Most people my age, who are looking for work, would not get the same help and the chance to get hands on work experience whilst I am learning is amazing. It means that once I am finished with my education then I will have had four years working on the job."
“The company have been brilliant in terms of support, whether it be time off to study or just the fact they are always there for advice along the way. Most of the people here have been through it and done it and there are so many examples of success stories for me to look up to and try to emulate, so hopefully follow in their footsteps over the next few years.”
