The Scottish Government employed Robertson Construction to design and build 3 Nr. replacement agricultural buildings and office accommodation for the bull stud facility at Knocknagael Farm. Korrie were appointed to design and build the mechanical and plumbing services for the project. In order to satisfy the pre-construction SAP calculations the office central heating system was changed from an oil boiler to an air source heat pump.
The Completed project encompasses three renewable technologies; a 4kW photovoltaic solar panel system will generate electricity and domestic hot water requirements are assisted through 4 solar thermal panels installed on the roof.
